Why Children’s Immunisations Are Important

Winter is over and Spring is here, so that means no more concerns about the health of children, right? WRONG! Children’s Immunisations are paramount to protecting your child health all year round.
Just because the colder months are (hopefully) gone, doesn’t mean we can stop worrying, particularly when it comes to our kids.

Whether they go to daycare or school: or even if you just take them out to the shops one day, they are going to get sick at some point.
Things like Hand Foot and Mouth, Roseola infantum, croup, Bronchiolitis – even just the cold, are common in children and though they can’t be prevented, you can ensure your children are cared for if they do get them.

And there are some precautions you can take in the interim, including ensuring they get enough vitamins in their diets.
The most important thing you need to consider though when it comes to the health of your children is immunisations.

It might be too late in the year for the flu vaccine, but are they up to date with their other vaccinations?
Of course, this is something you would have considered this year with new laws in place that un-immunised children can no longer attend mainstream daycare, but if you’re not sure whether they are up to date, here’s a guide:
