For patients holding valid Pension or Veteran Affairs cards, and for Children Under 16 years:

  • Bulk billing all services.
  • Procedures may incur a gap fee of $30 (to cover additional costs).

For patients holding a valid Medicare card:

  • Standard 15 minute consultations will be bulk billed.         
  • Appointments longer than 15 minutes may incur a $20 gap fee (including mental health care plans).
  • Procedures may incur a gap fee of $30 (to cover additional costs).

For patients without a Medicare card:

  • 15 minute consultations: $75.         
  • 30 minute consultations: $115.
  • 45 minute consultations: $160.

For patients without an appointment:

As of Monday 22/07/2019 -FPWMP will be charging private fees for patients who wish to be seen on the day (walk ins) without a booked appointment. The fee is $75 for standard consultation lasting less than 15 mins and patients will need to wait until the doctor is available to fit them in unless it is a medical emergency as triaged by our medical team.

  • Fees are payable at the time of consultation by Cash, Cheque, Visa, Mastercard or EFTPOS.

  • Patients who are referred to specialists and/or radiology, pathology etc. may incur “Out-of-pocket expenses”.

Emma draws from a number of evidence-based therapeutic models to understand the particular needs of each situation and tailor an effective approach to creating positive and stable change. Emma is experienced in working with a wide range of challenges facing individuals, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relational issues, and addiction. In all cases, Emma blends her knowledge of psychological processes with a focus on understanding each individual’s context and meeting their identified needs.

Emma understands the unique difficulties of each client and strives to help individuals build a higher level of insight into themselves and to develop their resilience and coping skills in order to make effective and sustainable changes. In discovering the areas of concerns each client brings to therapy, Emma draws upon several evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness and Solution-focused Therapy which are selected on the client’s specific needs.

Karli practices from a Non-Diet and Health at Every Size approach, which means she supports her clients to change their behaviours rather than the number on the scale. You won’t find her handing our strict meal plans or pushing to you to lose weight!

Instead, she provides a non-judgmental environment for her clients to learn about nutrition and develop a healthier relationship with food.
She understands that every person’s priorities and lifestyle are different, and she works collaboratively with her clients to develop and individualised plan that will help them to achieve their goals.
